Greetings!

The next Northern California LCA Roundtable meeting will be held at 10:00AM on Friday January 13, 2012 at Laughlin, Falbo, Leby & Moresi in San Francisco. Thank you Roger for allowing the LCA to meet at your offices.

Mr. Levy will discuss the newly argued Supreme Court case in Roberts v. Sealand Services and the ramifications of a possible adverse decision from the Court on the Longshore claims community.

Attorney Laura Bruyneel will be discussing the new OALJ Pre-trial Order and it's impact on litigation of Longshore Act cases and claims handling. There will also be a discussion about the exclusion of evidence at hearing for failure to engage in discovery. Thank you Laura for your time and expertise in covering this issue with the LCA community.

Lunch will be provided and we can thank Mr. Levy for that as well.
